Gynecologic Oncologist

Dr. Burak Tatar is an experienced gynecologist and gynecologic oncology surgeon dedicated himself to gynecologic cancer surgery and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery.

Prior to Buyuk Anadolu Hospital, he worked in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as an ob/gyn assistant and Suleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine Department of Gynecologic Oncology as a gynecologic oncology fellow. 

Meanwhile, he was chosen for the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (EBCOG) clinical fellowship program and completed this program in University of Torino Azienda Ospedaliera OIRM in 2102. In 2015, he won the International Gynecologic Cancer Society Traveling Scholars Program and worked in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center – New York, USA as a clinical observer. After that, he worked as a visiting clinical fellow – University Clinic of Essen - Germany especially in the area of robotic surgery.

In 2017, he won the fellowship award of European Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ESGO) and  Charité University of Medicine - Germany.

Since 2017, he has been serving hundreds of patients the gold standard of cancer surgery, comprehensive pre and post operative care and outpatient clinical care first in Samsun Research and Training Hospital, then in Büyük Anadolu Hospital and now in his own private office.
